In the 5th edition of Mallorca Design Day, Coca-Cola continues to support and bet on emerging design and all the common values we share: sustainability, innovation, commitment to the future well-being of the planet, industry and promoting eco-design.
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has implemented several sustainability strategies in Spain with the aim of reducing its environmental footprint. These initiatives also have an impact in Mallorca, promoting the reduction of plastics and the circular economy, also with the ‘Circular Seas’ Project in the Balearic Islands, underway since 2018, in collaboration with NGOs and volunteers; saving water in its production processes and the restoration of aquatic ecosystems. Focusing on renewable energy and emissions reduction, all Coca-Cola factories run on 100% renewable energy. The company has reduced its CO₂ emissions by more than 30% since 2010, with the goal of being net zero by 2040. And specifically in Mallorca, logistics centres and distribution seek to optimise routes and use more sustainable vehicles.
